Description A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! A long-standing member of the X-Men, KATHERINE “KITTY” PRYDE was one of the youngest ever to join. Gifted with the power of phasing, the young mutant can pass through solid matter. In addition to her natural born abilities, Kitty travelled to Japan where she fell prey to possession by the demon Ogun, who passed to her a lifetime of martial arts training, in one of her character’s defining story arcs.
Like the other members of the X-Men Classic Chapter, Kitty Pryde wears her traditional bright yellow and black X-Men uniform from the 1980s. She stands seductively relaxed, holding Ogun’s Hannya Mask in front of her and real metal katana sword behind. The pretty young woman’s long hair flows down over her shoulders, and her piercing green eyes seem to glow with intelligence.
Sculpted by Yu Ishii, Kitty Pryde stands over 9 inches tall. Like the other limited edition Fine Art Busts she is crafted in cold cast porcelain and is individually serial-numbered on her reversible base, with her nameplate on one side and a relief sculpture of her civilian face on the other.
